Lenbach Garten

The Lenbach Garten is a mixed-used development filling a city block with condos, office space, and a hotel; Munich’s Frauenkirche is visible in the background. Nearly every roof surface has a green roof, including extensive green roofs and intensive green roofs with lawns, paver and deck areas, pools, planters, and bonsai trees.

Each condo terrace has at least two planters, though most have long borders of planters, bed planters, and some lawns.

The pavers were laid on a bed of leveled broken stone. Irrigation systems were designed for each terrace.
